Studio.Public connects and communicates stories with a heavy look into the process and practice of living a creative life.
Studio.Public began as a way for co-founder Drew Austin to engage with artists on a personal level. His interest began after he saw their work, wanting to dive into who the person was, how their practice worked, and what influenced them as a maker.
Jessica Kooiman Parker soon joined the team and together they have expanded short online interviews with artists into a platform for public exploration and understanding of the creative life. Now Studio.Public takes on multiple forms, including a bi-annual publication, monthly podcasts, as well as an archive of interviews, critical essays, discussion, guest written work, and more.
